PROTECTED AREAS
We assist the CAR governmental bodies with our scientific, technical, and policy expertise to protect and manage wild places, recovering key species while securing valuable flows of ecosystem services and local livelihoods.
LAW ENFORCEMENT & ANTI-POACHING OPERATIONS
On the frontlines of conservation, well-trained rangers lead law enforcement efforts and anti-poaching operations supported by community scouts and transhumance-regulator agents. Together, these operational teams tackle threats to wildlife so that species populations are stable or increasing.
TRANSHUMANCE MANAGEMENT
We address transhumance-led pressures over wildlife and ecosystem services by promoting dialogue and establishing agreements with public authorities and pastoralist groups about wildlife conservation, alternative transhumance routes, and wildlife-friendly practices.
WILDLIFE MONITORING
We have set up an innovative monitoring system based on conservation technology, real-time satellite data, and effective deployment of operational teams. Our system is integrated with community scouts and transhumance-regulator agents, who are also trained in utilizing satellite communications devices.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
We partner with local communities and their leaders to achieve a green development vision where wildlife remains a culturally valued part of their landscapes and where livelihood access and practices are sustainable.
CONSERVATION PARTNERSHIPS
We foster collaboration among international and national organizations to mobilize knowledge, technical capacities, and economic resources to implement comprehensive strategies that achieve both conservation and development goals.
